See how WindspeedSEO works from first connection to verified action

A walkthrough of the six stages a WindspeedSEO account moves through, from the first read-only Google connection to a verified change measured against the period that follows it.

Stage 1

Connect the sources — and nothing more than necessary

WindspeedSEO asks for read-only access to the two Google properties that describe your search performance, and nothing else until a plan requires it.

Google Search Console

Read-only. Supplies queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR and average position. This is the only reliable first-party view of how your site performs in Google search, and it is where every trend in the product starts.

Google Analytics 4

Read-only. Supplies what organic visitors did after arriving — sessions, engagement and conversions — which is what separates a traffic increase from a useful one.

PageSpeed and CrUX

Platform-managed, no setup required. Supplies lab performance scores and real-user Core Web Vitals field data where Chrome has enough traffic to report it.

WordPress — Managed Automation only

Installed through a companion plugin using separate machine credentials for provisioning and publishing. You are never asked to paste your normal WordPress password into WindspeedSEO.

Stage 2

The measurement baseline

Once connected, WindspeedSEO builds and maintains a single view of the site across every monitored signal.

Stage 3

Prioritization, with the reasoning attached

An audit that returns two hundred findings has not helped anybody. WindspeedSEO scores each finding against four things: how large the change is, how commercially relevant the affected pages and queries are in your analytics, how strong the supporting evidence is, and how much effort the fix is expected to take.

What reaches the top of the list is the intersection — significant, relevant, well-evidenced and tractable. Everything else stays visible but stays below the fold, where it belongs.

Effort estimates are advisory expected ranges used for sequencing and workload balancing. They are not a time-tracking claim and they are not billed as hours.

How prioritization works in detail

Stage 4

Act — the stage where the plans differ

On Insights

The prioritized recommendation is delivered with its evidence, the affected URLs, the suggested approach and any supporting content or keyword opportunities. Your team implements it wherever your site is hosted. WindspeedSEO does not publish or change anything.

On Managed Automation

Content opportunities become generated blog posts with featured images, published to your WordPress site under a dedicated public author identity. Landing-page, technical and on-page work becomes developer tasks, assigned automatically with a workload-balanced round robin and executed through controlled access.

Stages 5 and 6

Verify, then learn from what actually happened

Verification runs deterministic validators before anything is shown to you as complete: did the page change, does it return the expected status, is the canonical correct, is the content live and indexable. Only QA-verified work is presented to a customer as completed work. Where a requirement genuinely cannot be machine-checked, it is flagged for manual QA instead of being quietly passed.

Then the change is measured. The next period report shows what moved after the work shipped, and that outcome feeds the following cycle’s prioritization. Over time the system gets better at predicting which kinds of work pay off on your particular site.

You can see the shape of that output in the sample SEO report, or read more about the underlying platform on the WindspeedSEO overview.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a live demo account I can log into?

This tour is the current walkthrough of the product. It uses representative data for a fictional example website so the screens are complete and legible rather than half-empty. Your own account shows only your connected data.

If you want to see the output format before deciding, the sample SEO report shows a full period report end to end.

How long does the initial setup actually take?

The connection step is short: authorizing read-only Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 access takes a few minutes each, and PageSpeed and CrUX need no setup because they are platform-managed. Managed Automation adds a WordPress connection, which involves installing the companion plugin and completing provisioning.

The first meaningful baseline appears once historical Search Console and Analytics data has been pulled and the first technical pass has run.

What does the dashboard show on day one versus month three?

On day one you get the current state: search performance with whatever history Google exposes, technical findings, analytics behavior, and a first prioritized list. What you do not yet have is trend context specific to your changes.

By month three, the dashboard is also showing outcome tracking — which recommendations were acted on, what happened afterwards, and how that has changed the ranking of what to do next.

Can I see the evidence behind a recommendation?

Yes, and that is deliberate. Each prioritized item carries the signals that produced it: the affected pages and queries, the direction and size of the change, the analytics context, and where relevant the competitor or technical evidence. A recommendation you cannot interrogate is a recommendation you cannot defend to anyone else.

What does the tour not show?

It does not show your data, obviously, and it does not show administrative screens that only apply to WindspeedSEO operations rather than customer accounts. It also does not promise a specific ranking or traffic outcome — the tour shows how work is identified, executed and verified, which is the part that can actually be committed to.

Which parts of the tour are Managed Automation only?

Stages one to three and stage six — connect, measure, prioritize and learn — are identical on both plans. Stage four, act, is where they diverge: on Insights the recommendation is handed to your team, while on Managed Automation WindspeedSEO publishes content and routes implementation work to an assigned developer. Stage five, verify, only applies to work WindspeedSEO performed.
